Rutland Youth Soccer is closely monitoring the spread of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) in Massachusetts and considers this issue as an important player safety concern. According to the Town of Holden Facebook page,The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) has informed Holden officials this afternoon that mosquito samples taken within town limits have tested positive for EEE.

The town of Rutland has not issued a mandatory curfew as the town remains in moderate risk according to Massachusetts state authorities.  If the state raises Rutland's risk level to high or the town issues a curfew, RYS will communicate those changes to you and change our schedule accordingly.
