Opening Day - September 7th at Memorial Field

Rutland Youth Soccer is hosting our second annual RYS Opening Day event to kick off the 2019 fall season on Saturday, September 7th from 8am - 5pm. In the tradition of Little League parades and other sports jamborees, RYS will bring together our entire soccer club for an exciting family event at Memorial Field in Rutland. We encourage you and your families to come out and be a part of the fun. We have a fun filled day planned, that includes soccer, pictures, activities for the kids, food trucks, RYS merchandise and more. And best of all, other than purchasing food and RYS fan wear, the day is FREE!!!

The day will start with our Pre-K and Kindergarten soccer sessions, followed by a U8 (1st/2nd grade) mini tournament. The afternoon will host at least two to three U10 (3rd/4th grade) travel level games. And around it all, there will be plenty to keep your family entertained. RYS is also pleased to bring back picture day, where pictures will be taken of full teams and individual children.

Activities include:
- Regular Soccer Sessions for Pre K and Kindergarten
- A Special 4v4 Soccer Tournament for 1st and 2nd Graders.
- Regular Season Soccer Games for 3rd Grade and up. (as scheduled by MAYSL)
- Picture Day - Schedule based on times prior to games, starting at 8:15am.
- Bouncy House activities
- Food Trucks, RYS Merchandize and other vendors.
